Who we are

Dent Money is run by the Dent Money team. It is a money tracker for dentists in the Philippines. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

What we store

• Your username and a scrambled (hashed) form of your login key. We never see your password.
• Your entries: clinics, days, expenses, net worth and settings, plus your name, TIN and photo if you add them. They are encrypted on your device before they are saved, so only your device can read them. We can’t.
• Reminders, if you turn them on: your device’s push address and the time you picked.
• Security records: sign-in sessions and attempt counters that stop abuse. IP addresses and usernames in these are stored scrambled.
• Anonymous visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no ads, no tracking across sites.
• Messages you send us from Settings (suggestions and bug reports).

Why we store it

To run your account, keep it secure, send the reminders you asked for, and see how many people visit. We don’t sell your data, share it, or use it for ads.

Where it is kept

On Cloudflare’s servers, which may be outside the Philippines. Everything travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. Sign-in sessions end after 30 days, and security records clear on their own within a few days. Cloudflare’s database recovery copies roll off within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and to object to how it is used. You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

• See and correct: everything you entered is in the app, and you can edit it anytime.
• Delete: Settings > Danger zone > Delete account removes your account and every entry right away.
• Anything else: email us at the address below.

Security

Your entries are locked with a key made from your password, on your device. If you lose your password and all your recovery codes, nobody, including us, can get your data back.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
